Hi everyone.
Walking on the Liguria trails, suspended between the sea and the hills, is a beautiful experience in all seasons, but perhaps in the autumn these walks have a special charm. So here we are with a trip to the sea on the “Old Varazze railway”, which will take place on Sunday, November 8,
The evocative route runs along one of the most astounding sections of the west coast that from Varazze heads towards Genoa. The section that we will be walking on, of about 5.5 km, is essentially flat since it follows, for the most part, the route of the old railway line that was abandoned in the late 60s and now accessible to all.
For those of you who wish to walk and “toil” a little more, there will be the opportunity to hike from Varazze up to the “Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia” (405 meters, 45 minutes) with a magnificent view, east and west, over the Ligurian coast and the Monti del Beigua.
